‘SINBAD THE
SAILOR’ was a wonderful sell-out success with the usual accolade
of “Best Ever”. This really was the best ever: enthusiastic
direction from EJ, highly professional musical direction from
Rod Murray (the music and singing improve every year), great
dance choreography from Josie Daman and colourful sets and slick
changes from Sheila, Martin and crew. Make-up was particularly
complicated with many ‘unusual’ characters and this was
cheerfully and expertly applied by Chez Payne-Annetts and her
team. Wendy and team made sure that Props were spot-on as usual.
Special mention has to go to Maureen Fennemore and Judi
Rowlands for the magnificent costumes which were the result of
three months hard work and enthusiasm. WTW is very fortunate in
having what is undoubtedly the most dedicated and knowledgeable
wardrobe department.
