In one of their most complex expositions ever attempted on its stage, Wargrave Theatre managed to pull off , in brilliant fashion, the challenging task of portraying the psychodrama of an ever-deteriorating family Christmas Day, which was to end in utter chaos with food, drink and furniture being thrown everywhere!
Many congratulations to Director Chris Christie and all of the cast, crew and everyone else involved in delivering such an intriguing and entertaining production.
We were very fortunate to have amongst our audience Cate Naylor from the National Operatic and Drama Association (NODA), who had selected our show for review and entry into their annual regional competition (as she did, you may recall, in June for our Youth Theatre’s production of Shakespeare Rocks!). Her glowing review, of which we should all be very proud, is available for you to download by clicking on the appropriate link below.
We were equally privileged to have in the audience Wargrave Theatre’s oldest member, Martin Lorenz, and the author Wendy Jones, both of whom have submitted excellent reviews of their own, for which we are also most grateful. Links to download these reviews , as well as a selection of the superb photographs taken of the show by David Williams, can be found below as well.
