Wargrave Theatre began life as the Wargrave Theatre Workshop in 1974, its very first show being an Old Time Musical Hall in November of that year, produced by founder members Miriam Moore, Peggy Hannen, and Hedley Roberts. Since then, we have put on a pantomime every year (apart from 2020 when the Covid rules forced us to cancel), nineteen Shakespeare plays for the Wargrave Festival from 1987, and over one hundred plays, musicals and revues.

To mark this milestone, we are publishing a full list of all of our shows, together with those of Wargrave Youth Theatre, which started off in 1992 as the Junior Workshop and WEDGE.

FIFTY YEARS OF FABULOUS FUN
On 28th June eighty members, past and present, gathered in the Woodclyffe Hall to celebrate fifty years since Wargrave Theatre Workshop was founded. It was a highly successful and enjoyable evening of entertainment and karaoke. Our thanks go to  to all those who helped and took part.
